A shared vision makes all the difference

Innovation is hard work. It literally takes sweat (sometimes blood) and tears. It's hundreds (and hundreds and hundreds) of hours of focused effort, involving countless moments of experimentation, reframing, questioning, frustrations, setbacks, and breakthroughs.

It's an iterative process that's beautifully alluring and simple at times.

And a complex vision requires a unified team.

It's not for everybody. Some people, unfortunately, call the process "swirl" – unable to see a way through, an end in sight, a time when things will crystalize and gel. For those without a bigger view, the daily grind and the well-trodded path will do. They’ll support the mainstream, push the ball forward. March on. Sure, there's nobility in staying the course.

But for the those who feel emboldened, a universe of possibility emerges just beyond. It's filled with imaginary worlds that are yearning to be brought into existence and be explored. Those worlds are critical for humanity – for they push us ever farther.

So be clear in your vision and chart your course. Find your courage – and your tribe and compatriots. They’ll encourage you. And we will too. To aim for things not yet seen. To fail and learn. To break through. To get there. To arrive.

Because if you follow your vision, eventually you (and others who join you) will discover something extraordinary.
